One of our most productive times since the start of development, very very excited for this!

New Demo Album Cover!
New Demo Album Cover!

2D Art:

We finished up our first fully rendered sprite set accompanied by many more sketched ones currently completed! Currently counting, and not counting most and any of the neutral sprite alts, we're at 84.

Bio illustrations are ready to go! They'll be uploaded weekly and following the end of them will hold something special. Some of the prior illustrations have been removed from public viewing; we've made minor edits to them to match the quality of the newer ones better. They'll be re-added to go along with the current upload schedule as well.

Neutrals are almost fully rendered and up-to-date now as well, with only a few remaining.

We've been working on or reworking a lot more graphic design aspects, most of those are now complete as well for this mini re-vamp.

All characters fully have their redesigns this time, so we won't be putting back the reference sheets for a bit.

3D Art + Programming:

We've started our largest hurdle with this! The main demo area has been mapped out in 2D and also blocked out in 3D.

First graybox build is completed! We were able to test our animated sprites in action, as well as the general space and basic gameplay.

Writing: Reworked some of the major demo events and the general outline, and we fleshed out the trial system a lot more! In general, more demo writing has been complete, and we are getting closer and closer to a casting call date. Though, we already have a set date planned now! Music: A lot of the songs necessary for the demo have been completed already! Since there's still time ahead, a few older tracks have been getting revamps.

UI/UX Art:

Concept art for nearly all non card gameplay UI assets are complete!

Other:

This is also our first newsletter containing the new layout! Very pleased how it turned out in the end.

We also have an organized content schedule this time! We went back to work on a lot of our assets in our own time without upholding a schedule to spend more time on quality and to have enough time to look again and make gradual changes or fixes.

Finally; Q:CT is under a studio name now! I received the documents and business license back for my own LLC very recently, and while this doesn't change anything for the public eye right now, it'll help with a lot of cool stuff planned down the line!

We also have the fandom page laid out currently in full with its template, and have will release it after all the bios are uploaded.
