By this point, nearly all bios are released and will be released by the end of this month if not already. We're also so so excited beyond that to showcase our first snippets of our build as well as release the full casting call!
Beyond that, here's some other updates we've made since;

First Teaser Trailer!
We've been working hard to comfortably try to have a functional build first before looking for VAs, now that we've done so, we'll also have a short teaser trailer in-game! This will have the Casting Call announcement in addition and also release at the same scheduled time the document and CCC release.
3D Art + Programming:
We have finished models! Some of the main areas have finished modeling and shaders while others are also getting started now. The finished areas are playable and have been getting multiple play-testing sessions this month. Huge thanks to our programmer and 3D + Technical Artist for getting this done so well! We've been extremely happy with the results so far.





2D Art:
We've finished more rendered sprites and alts, as of now, everyone besides 4 characters has their Prologue sprite sets sketched out and ready to move into the rendering phase.


Overall for this area, we started pushing more towards in-game 2D assets as well to test out with our build rather than generalized assets. Here is one of the many portraits you get to see in-game and that pop up in the teaser trailer;

More UI concept art has been worked on and cleaned up to also be tested in-build, we also have animated storyboards of the second teaser trailer started! We originally aimed for it to be in place of this current one, however with life getting in the way we decided it was best to give it a bit more time to be where we want it to be. Music: Additional tracks have been getting revamped since then, additionally, after the final release of the bios we'll start to release some songs again within our content schedule at a sporadic rate.
Casting Call:
By the time of this newsletter's release the casting call should be announced or out! The CCC page, document, and google form submission sheet are all setup. The current timeline in regards to this is to have auditions be open for 3 months straight, then after this period give a month to go through any additional or final waves of callbacks with tech test and callback scripts.
Writing: A large portion of this time was spent going further in detail and proofreading character descriptions and their backstories to have that prior to casting as well. We've also made other progress in certain areas that aren't revealed yet, but we hope to make a large announcement on it soon.
